Jackie Kane
Jacalyn Kane, is the Executive Dir., of the Thermography Center of Santa Barbara (ThermographyCenterSB.com) which specializes in breast thermography for women. Motivated to educate women, and the men whose lives they touch, about breast cancer prevention, early screening for the development of disease and the dangers of annual mammograms she opened the Thermography Center of Santa Barbara in 2008 with mobile units traveling throughout California. It is her goal to make annual thermography as common as your annual pap and yearly mammogram screenings a thing of the past. Ms. Kane can be heard regularly on national radio interviews educating the public about breast thermography, breast health and cancer prevention.
Prior to opening the Thermography Center of Santa Barbara, Ms. Kane’s main focus was Jacalyn Kane Productions (kaneproductions.com) through which she has presented festivals (Whole Earth Festival 2002) and benefit concerts for political causes & social issues for over twenty years. As an advocate she has passionately spoken out on social causes dear to her heart. In 2002 she helped bring the issue of computerized voter fraud to the main stream consciousness while creating PSA’s focused on peace and preventing the war in Iraq. Her goal is to create the same passionate momentum, regarding breast thermography and the dangers of over exposure to yearly radiation from mammograms, for women. Ms. Kane is a Certified Clinical Thermographer (CCT) and a Reiki Practioner living in Santa Barbara, CA.
